We conduct a number of workshops for caregivers and relatives of patients with psychological problems and developmental disabilities. These workshops are aimed to help the relative / caregiver understand the illness of the patient, the causes and long term course of the illness or disability, the nature of treatments available and most importantly the caregivers are given an understanding and insight into their role and behaviour while managing the patient. These workshops are conducted for groups of caregivers at various hospitals and nongovernmental organizations. The workshops are of 2 hours duration with ample time provided for answering all the questions that caregivers may have.
